Hi Ladies
My sister-in-law and family are in desperate need of prayers right now. They literally just became a homeschooling family, and I guess due to California laws, have to meet with a teacher during certain times. Thankfully, my SIL and 4 children left to meet the teacher (her husband was at work) yesterday 25 minutes before a neighbor called to tell her that their house was totally engulfed in flames. They lived in a rural area and built their own dream home themselves. The thought is that the propane tank somehow exploded. There is nothing left of the house at all - nothing salvageable, and they found their dog dead in the front yard to boot.
Please say a prayer for them if you would! They are so distressed and there is no family around them right now. My MIL is just heartbroken and has been enduring a lot herself (they were hit hard by Hurricane Ike in Texas, my FIL lost his job, and now this) and is in need of prayers for peace as well.

On Andrea, how devastating. Many, many prayers for your extended family. It is hard to be a missionary at times like this, when you would love to run to everyone's aid...I'll keep you and dh in my prayers as well.

Oh, Andrea........this is just horrible. Prayers for all of your family's intentions.

Where do they live in California? There are homeschoolers all over the state that may be able to help. I know a lot of homeschoolers in this state. Pm the location to me if you want.

Also, it is not CA law to meet with a teacher once a month.....but, it sounds like your sil joined a charter school, in which case she would need to meet one a month.
