I had a long night last night including a trip the ER at 5am for pain relief. WOW kidney stones hurt. Please pray that I pass the stone without complication, and for my husband's peace of mind. He was very afraid last night, not knowing what was wrong. Thank you.
9/25 update: I thought the stone was gone, but now I know it's moving again. Please pray I can get through this without another trip to the ER.
9/26 update: visited the urologist today. If the 3-4mm stone doesn't vacate the premises by Tuesday I'll be having surgery to remove it Wednesday. It's located in an easily accessible spot and it's better to get it out than leave it there if it's not gone by then. My kidney function will thank us in the long run. AND I have more stones in my kidneys. So, let's pray the stone I trying to get rid of leaves so I don't need surgery, and the stones in my kidneys stay there until the day I die, and I start suffering better (not even close to saintly here). Thank you.
9/29 update: I thought the stone might have moved yesterday, but it was apparent the stone is in the same place it was last week even to my uneducated eye on the Xray I had taken this morning. Pre-admission testing is scheduled for this afternoon. Today I realized the stone removal surgery is scheduled for my confirmation name day - October 1, St. Therese! The liver biopsy I had in March was scheduled on St. Patrick's Day! I felt much more peaceful about the situation once I realized that. Thank you, Lord, and thank you all for your prayers.

My dh has suffered with those in the past, so we have a little experience here. Praying for quick relief for you and peace of mind for your dh.

I had one last year that had to be removed. I empathize with the pain...it's worse than childbirth! I pray for you to get relief, and soon
God bless,
Christine

You are in my prayers. I had one while pregnant with my youngest and didn't realize I was in labor because I kept thinking it was the stone. May you find relief quickly.

Oh that's painful! I've had two stones, both very small and passed on their own, and on two separate ocassions. Ouch!
Praying for you, Patty.
