They leave Thursday for a necessary trip to see family - thet are in their 80's and my mother is not so well. They have a tough two days of flying, and then gruelling journeys by train in a third world country, where Catholics are being persecuted in some areas. Please pray for health and safety for them. I am so worried for them - please pray especially that my mum will not get a blood clot from all the flying - and that they will not get stomach viruses from bad water or food.

Praying, Marilyn. This is hard. We worry about dh's parents when they travel too. Their age, their medical issues. 
We were just talking about the Archangel Raphael this AM. We'll add them to morning prayers and ask St. Raphael to watch over them.

Thank you all so much. My parents just flew back into town - the trip was tiring for them, but apart from a little heat exhaustion, they both kept well the entire trip - I am so relieved to have them back in the US.
