I just learned (on facebook, no less . . .) that my brother and his wife are headed for a divorce. Please pray for them.

I confess that nobody thought they should have married when they did (4 months after meeting, 2 weeks before he was sent to Kuwait for 18 mths), but that doesn't mean there isn't plenty of pain and grief in this decision. And because few supported him in his decision to marry (me included) I don't think he feels comfortable reaching out to us now (even though I won't say "I Told You So" I'm sure he's thinking it.)

He has a fragile personality as it is, and I worry for his sanity.

First of all, I'll pray.

Second, CatholicMil.org has resources for military marriages in trouble. They might not know about them.

Third, my husband and I knew eachother for 2 months when we got married. We are here nearly 13 years later with 6 children. It can work. God willing.
