One of my DH's colleagues, and his wife, just suffered the loss of their baby girl, who died soon after she was born. Everything had apparently gone very well up to the birth, so this was a great shock as well as a tremendous sorrow.
If you have a moment, please pray that Our Lord and His Blessed Mother will comfort these parents, and their older child (a preschool-aged daughter).

Oh Eleanor, that is just so tragic...I feel for them greatly. I will be praying that Our Lady will place her mantle around them during this time of tremendous sorrow and lose.
