My mom's dear friend, Pat, is having some weird medical problems. It started as blood clots in her legs and lungs. Then she had pneumonia. Then it seemed that things were looking up, but she still had a persistent cough. Then they gave her a cough medicine with codeine and she had a really bad reaction to it. Now she is running a really high fever and is on IV antibiotics. They don't seem to know what is wrong with her. She has never been sick a day in her life before this past month. My mom has been friends with her for over 40 years. Please remember Pat in your prayers.

Thank you for all your prayers!! My mom just called with an update. She said that Pat's fever broke and she is looking much better. She is also not on oxygen anymore.
