I can't keep on like this...
the night and my thoughts are just haunting me...
there is no money until the end of the week, the house is too small, husband is constantly gone, it is so hard to keep going on...
please pray the children and me

I am awake with you right now and am so sorry you're experiencing this. Haunting nighttime anxiety is no stranger to me.

Joann,
Lifting you before the throne.
Father I speak your Word to these haunting thoughts. You said that You have not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind and I declare right now that Joann wants a sound mind. She does not want to be plagued with these thoughts and in the name of Jesus I take authority over them and command them to go!
Father you tell us in your Word that we are to worry about nothing and pray about everything. Sometimes this seems easier said than done but right now I pray for peace of mind and strength for Joann to take these concerns to You, who according to your Word, perfect them.
I ask these things in the mighty and matchless name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Joann - You are not alone in this! We are here, lifting you up and praying you right through!
I've been troubled by extreme nighttime anxiety.
When I worry and can't sleep Joann, I keep a set of Rosary beads under my pillow and cling to them and the comforting rhythm of the prayers. If I'm particularly worried about something that I need to let go, I pray the Mercy Chaplet.
I'll be offering my Rosary and Mercy Chaplet today for you. Begging our Sweet, Tender Lord to comfort you and carry you through this time, dear Joann.

Joann-Much night time anxiety around here as we wait on news of Hurricane Gustav. It is difficult to bear so many burdens and still strive to be the wife and mother we know we should. Take it easy on yourself and know that I will offer every moment of anxiety and every pleading Ave today for you.
