Hi everyone, I am so tired, but I just wanted to say our baby girl was born healthy this morning (August 21, her brother's fourth birthday) at 5:22 a.m. -- via VBAC after two c-sections, which hadn't looked very likely at all at some points. She doesn't have a name yet. We are always slow about that. She was put on my chest immediately and nursed for I think more than an hour once she started, and only went to the nursery for some procedures on our initiative maybe five or six hours after the birth (wasn't even weighed in our room for quite some time!) It was so different. Of all the things that "went wrong" pretty unexpectedly this August, this was one of our dearest hopes for a long time that I really didn't have much confidence at all would work out, and it did! As my doula (who was invaluable) kept saying, praise the Lord!

CONGRATULATIONS THERESA! I have been praying for you. So pleased that you made the VBAC - awesome news! Hope you are recovering well. Let me know when you are up to me bringing you a meal (I can't wait to get a peek at that little bundle of pink!!!)

That is just the BEST news Theresa! I am so happy for you after so many struggles beforehand..your dearest wish fulfilled, what a blessing! A wonderful little girl on the feast of Our Lady of Knock, that is special too.
Look forward to hearing what her name will be and praying a prayer of thanksgiving and for a blessed babymoon!
