I heard from Kristen tonight. She thought labor might be starting. The baby is due on the 18th. I waited and waited to hear if she thought things were progressing...but I couldn't wait anymore, and it's 11:30 here and I haven't heard anything.
Would you all please pray her through the night - for a restful one if this isn't it, and for a safe delivery if God and this baby are ready!
I'm praying, Kristen!!!

UPDATE 8/13
Kristen let me know this morning that labor slowed down some last night which allowed her to get some rest. It has renewed with fervor this morning and there are additional indications that this is it!
She is so grateful for the prayers!

Hello all,
Thanks so much for the prayers. Everything slowed again, but then it came back with avengence. I have had a few mighty contractions and the midwife says anytime now as things are moving along rather well. (She doesn't feel a thing. ) So, sometime this evening, there should be a baby. My water just needs to break and then it shouldn't be long. Once again, thanks for the prayers. I am remembering everyone's intentions here.
