Thank you for the prayers, ladies. Dh was soing better. He decided that since he felt better, he would try to work on the roof of the shed again.(He is a teacher, and he goes back to school in three weeks. He feels like he has a deadline looming.) HE should not have worked on the shed, though. Now he is much worse. I cannot get him to go to the doctor, but he can not move without being in severe pain. Please keep praying. To some extent, I do feel like this is an attack, spiritually. Whenever dh begins to get closer to God, he has a major medical problem(head injury, hip replacements, back surgery, etc.). He really needs prayers. I could probably use a few, too. I am a little irritated with him for not taking better care of himself. I could be a little more charitable.

Praying for you both, Jen! I do know what you mean about getting irritated when they don't take better care of themselves. I feel that way sometimes too, and struggle to remain charitable. I am praying that you can have peace, help him in whatever way he needs your help, and especially that he will heal quickly!

I'm praying, Jen. I, too, have needed to not only learn how to accept but also to respect my dh's decisions about his activities and his health. It can be soooooooooo hard! You are a great wife to pray and support him through these difficulties.
