This was posted to my Yahoo! Embroidery group prayer request database ...

Evan, one of the little boys in our playgroup is very ill, he is three and had some raw milk and now has E coli- HUS which causes kidney failure and other problems. We are all trying to help out with the younger one and meals, etc. You may hear about it on the news, 4 children are now sick and Whole Foods carried the milk - it was farmed in Connecticut.

Please pray for Evan and the other children. In the email they said his kidneys are not functioning.

And for the farmers involved. I know how hard they are fighting to keep raw milk available to those who want it. They so don't need this right now either.

I received a response.........

Thank you to everyone for his or her prayers for Evan. He is more awake and alert these days and hasn't had any neurological problems, so they don't think their will be any permanent ones. He goes for a ride in a wagon and doing some walking everyday. We are still praying and waiting for him to pee and his kidneys to start working.

I started a candle group for him - I would like to keep them lit as long as he is in the Intensive Care Unit.
