Katydid had an appointment with a neurologist today; I think your prayers must have been helping, because we were supposed to have to wait until the end of July but there was a cancellation. So thank you.

She was diagnosed with "chronic daily headache with migrainous transformation." Basically, the neurologist thinks that her strep infection caused the initial headache, but her brain (for whatever reason) then locked into the pain cycle. So we're attempting to break the cycle. She's starting out with melatonin, which is an all-natural OTC remedy, that she will have to take for 6 months. We should know if it's working in 2 or 3 weeks, though.

If you could, would you please pray that this works and that we don't have to go to any of the more powerful drugs?
