Well, the For Sale sign went up in front of our house this morning, about three months later than I had hoped it would! This house was a serious fixer-upper when we bought it two years ago, not expecting to be moving so soon. But all the malingering projects are finished, it looks great, and we are praying for a miracle sale in a slow market. Or, alternatively, to be able to rent it, affordably for all concerned, to someone who might really need it. Really we just need to trust God and be at peace here.
Meanwhile, we're going house-hunting in NC week after next, and prayers would be greatly appreciated as we discern where we need to be. We've been reading the Mitchells series by Hilda van Stockum with the little kids, and they are very concerned that we find our "Friendly Gables." AND my teenager could use some prayers regarding the move. She's a good sport, but transitions have always been very hard for her, and leaving all her well-established friends is especially tough this time around.

we are looking forward to hopefully visiting Belmont Abbey in late July, and know your dh is going to be a great addition there!!!
also praying for your dd. I don;t know how my oldest would handle a move right now!!
