Tonight I am praying in thanksgiving for our Lord's great mercy today. A friend's 3yo dd nearly drowned, but after CPR (by her mother) and a stay at the hospital, she is doing great.

If you would, please offer a Hail Mary for the mom. She is 34 weeks pregnant with #9, and was having contractions earlier tonight; no doubt brought on by this terrible stress.

The Lord is so good, and we are all very thankful tonight.

Update:
I saw this mom and the little one today. 3yo was running around in her ballet clothes because, "Miss____ would miss me if I wasn't there!" Mom was looking a bit tired, but the contractions had stopped. Apparently, the story I had was not completely correct; CPR was not needed, but the little one was unconcious for a time. All tests were repeated this morning and showed no lasting effects (affects? I never get that right )

Thank you all for your prayers. Thank you, thank you, Lord!
