Today I am so feeling the crunch of the economy.
I'm trying to shop summer clothes/bathing suits and I'm so depressed at how much I need to spend to cover the basics. We live across the street from the pool, we are very blessed in that regard, but trying to ensure my children get quality, modest suits is going to break the bank! Not to mention I'm just feeling smothered by what food and gas is costing us too.
I feel like I really need Our Lady's help in particular. After all, she provided so graciously and beautifully for her Son with far far less.
Please pray that I can place all my trust in my heavenly Father, to believe that He will provide all that we need.

Maria, I'm with you in prayer. It is so difficult not to allow fear to creep in. and so humbling to be aware of how close to "the brink" many of us are....

Maria--We too are in such a financial crunch. Every trip to the grocery store is stressful. Usually, I buy the boys boots in the fall/winter and leather sandals in the spring/summer for church. This year they're wearing what we were given from others and what we had. Every one has one bathing suit that still fits and I am hoping to find nice rash guard shirts on sale somewhere. Dh is very stressed and it is difficult. Let's all lift one another up as we attempt to make things lovely in these really tough times.

Maria, I was in the same boat with the outrageous prices of bathing suits. Someone (I can't find the link) posted about a great sale for $10 wet suit bathing suits from CWDkids. I am not sure how long this sale with last-(I got my order in last week)
I will be keeping you and your family in my prayers.

I hear you Maria, I went to the market today and came home with an anxiety attack And, I am afraid to drive as gas is just about 4.00 a gl here  God save us all!

It sure is a tough time right now.
