He just got back from the doc and his thyroid is all out of whack. It could be cancer - and he can't get an oncology appt. until July 13!

Please pray for my dh. Medical issues really upset him anyway, and having to wait for months is just not going to be good. He also found out he has 2 broken toes; so much for riding the MS-150 next month.

If you have time, could you please pray that dh gets an earlier appointment? That would ease his mind greatly. Nothing like being told, "It could be cancer," and then having to sit around...

Thanks, Cay - we knew he was having thyroid problems but it's very hard to get the Navy's medical juggernaut to move quickly, so it's going to be a long wait.

Praying, Nancy. It does seem ridiculous to have to wait so long, especially when someone tells you, "It might be cancer." Can he get on some kind of list to be called if there is a cancellation? (I know, the military doesn't do things in the normal way; but still?)

Prayers that it isn't cancer, that he can get in sooner, and that you all have peace while you wait.

Dh is taking a little time today to visit the patient advocacy office. This has been going on since November - trying to get appointments, etc. He's pretty angry. I guess it is better than working the VA system, but that isn't saying much.
