a very good friend of ours was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer. he has been given 6 months to live with no treatment and a tiny bit more hope with treatment.
he has decided to fight it. aggressively.
He is an extremely devote Catholic, who is involved with boy scouting (over 40 yrs of service and volunteering) and with Boystown in Nebraska.
him and my ds have a special connection, with our friends getting messages from the Holy Spirit about our ds.

I am sitting here crying my eyes out. he is such a special man. so kind and generous. and funny.
please, please pray for him. and for God's will to be done.

also a small prayer for myself. I am not to tell my ds about this at this time. and it is very difficult. I know how crushed my ds would be (will be) even just knowing that our friend is sick, let alone..... well you know. this is a very difficult thing to hear.
and me way over here on this island, can do nothing BUT pray... I feel so helpless over here. But I will PRAY like I have never prayed before.

thank you ladies. and please, please pass this on to any other pray groups that you know of... I would be very grateful.
