Hi Ladies!
I just wanted to ask for your prayers as I leave for a silent, women's Opus Dei retreat this afternoon for the weekend. I feel really nervous about it!
Also, I am taking along my nursling (as are other women I know, thankfully), and I am just praying that she'll be extraordinarily good and that I'll still get the full affect with her along.
I haven't been on retreat since high school, and I know that Satan is trying to break through to me as I prepare to go. The weather is just terrible, and I get nervous driving alone in the snow (I'm headed to the beautiful Rocky Mountains). Plus I have been teetering on burnout around here between having 3 very small children, random household setbacks that make it hard to catch up, and a husband who has been working 16 hour days! I need this retreat!
I will be praying for you all as well!

Hope it's a wonderful retreat, Andrea!
I did take my baby boy on an Opus Dei retreat before he was a year old.
I wasn't able to sit in the chapel for one of the recollections as the little man was squirrelly but the ladies in the retreat house set up a monitor so I could at least hear the recollection from another room.
Those retreats are really beautiful and the Opus Dei priests, I have found, are wonderful confessors! Not to mention the meals that are so lovingly prepared and served!
Hope you're enjoying the retreat right now!
