My little baby, Annuncia has woken up a quite distrested, she seems to have mucus or something in her throat that she is trying to get up and it is concerning me greatly, I may have to take her the hospital. Please pray this settles and she will be ok! We all have bad head colds at present but she didn't go to bed with one..

Oh Anne... prayers. My Philip has tons of mucus in his throat right now (we're all sick). It's so hard to hear really little ones cough, etc.

I was fortunate that his two month check-up happened to be on the same day and the doctor reassured me that it was just a cold and his lungs were fine.

Praying, Anne. When Kyler was 5 weeks old he had to be suctioned out at the ER because he had so much mucus from a cold we all had. I understand the anxiety completely. My kids are all content right now. Will be praying right now and until we hear all is well.

Thank you for all those prayers, Annuncia finally settled and I tried to keep her upright against me, the poor little thing was so tired as well. She has finally woken (it is dawn here) and she has the head cold now for sure, I do hope she will not get too congested in the days to come especially the way she was gagging in such a distressed manner.

All I can say is that it is Lent and that there is still a week or more to go, it's just been a very penitential one and I know so many of you are in that boat too with a bad winter.

Everything is such bad timing, I can feel my nerves under a bit of pressure since I have this dreadful flu as well and tending to other sick in the house and I've been put on new herbs just to combat this flu and I think my body is missing some of those good nerve herbs already...

I will pray for both of you! I remember my dd having a horrible chest cold when she was an infant ... I spent several nights sleeping upright on the sofa with her on my chest!
