Dh and ds went to the doctor today. Dh's temps have been up around 104. They were diagosed with the flu. Two more started coughing and fevers rose, so the doc put them on Tamaflu, as they started only this morning. Dh is miserable, chilling, feverish, headache, etc. Ds is doing better, but his cough is awful. PLease pray that those of us that don't have it don't get it, and those of us who have it get over it without it going into pneumonia. Thank you.

Thank you. We have one more down this morning. Only three more of us to go. UGH. The doc thinks the baby will most likely not get it, so that is a little piece of sunshine.

Will be praying for you!
Our whole family went on Tamaflu (to the tune of $900 -about $100 a person). Some had the flu. Some took a version to avoid getting it.
I had the flu and they wanted me to wean the baby and hospitalize me. But thanks to the Lord, I didn't have to do either. I did stay in bed until I was sick of staying in bed  though. It took about a month for all of us to recover, but still some kept the cough for longer.
It was the worst I think I have ever felt. Tamaflu, I found out afterwards, doesn't even work well unless you take it at the onset of the flu and then it only cuts the flu by a day or two.
This has been a nasty flu season according to the docs.

Stephanie, our doc will only prescribe Tamaflu at the onset(within the first twelve hours), and boy is it expensive!!!
The last boy came down with it today. We're hoping that since dds and I have slept away from dh and boys we won't get it.
