I feel kinda silly asking for prayers, knowing there are so many other more important requests here.... but... here goes:

we leave in 2 days, and i'm just asking for a bit of extra protection from Mama Mary. based on history, something always happens that makes us that much more jittery while traveling -- in 2003 aisa popped her knee cap doing gymnastics 2 days before we left for italy so she had to be in crutches and a brace the whole time. there have been other instances where we're leaving in a day or so and SOMETHING happens to either prevent the trip or make it more difficult. (now that i think about it, it's okay since it's Lent -- we could use a bit more mortification around here)

last night yena hit her cheek on the bedside table and now she's got a good-sized bruise. and aisa just slid down a minute ago on the last step of the stairs (she didn't hurt herself, thank goodness). i don't know what it is with this family and traveling.

so i'm asking, though a bit embarrassed to be doing so. i'm starting to hit panic mode and trying to shield myself with prayer. thank you!!
