Well, as of this afternoon my dad has been unable to keep his blood oxygen levels above 90 on is own. He is on 80% oxygen right now and only up to about 94 for blood oxygen. They think it has a lot to do with the fact that he smoked a pipe for 30+ years and also that he has a lot of gas built up that he needs to get out (my 10yo boys would LOVE to know that!). The medical people are worried and not sure how to go forward right now. He can't be moved to a regular room until he can keep those levels up on his own and that means that my children are not able to see him. Since they are used to seeing him on an almost daily basis (and in turn he is used to seeing them) this is hard for everyone. I know I have been asking for a lot lately, but he really needs some prayers again right now. We all really would like him to move forward and really start healing. Thanks so much!

Absolutely, Betsie! The waiting is so hard. It will be a happy day when you let us know that your dad is in a regular room and that his visits with your children are bringing him joy and healing. Praying!
