I have a couple of prayer requests:
1. Dd has a serious case of poisons ivy. We'll be headed to the doctor in a bit. It's on her face, and she has swollen eyes, cheeks, and now it has spread to her lips. She is also at an age where she is incredibly self-conscious. She does not want anyone to see her face, and she wo't look in the mirror. She is especially sad because she feels she is being vain. And, completely out of character for her, she is asking for a shot to relieve her pain and discomfort. So...could you please pray that she gets better real soon.
2. MIL will be having brain surgery on Thursday. She has essential tremors, an she is having surgery to stimulate the nerves to help control the tremors. The procedure will last nearly the entire day, and she must be awake during it. Then it will take a month to get everything lined out exactly right. She is eighty years old. Could you please pray for her and for the surgeon and other medical staff. Thank you.

Your poor DD!! I will pray for her! I am sorry she has to suffer so.
Praying for your MIL. That is quite a long procedure for a woman of that age. Poor thing! I will definitely pray for her,your family, and the medical staff.

Thank you so much for your prayers. Dd is much better.
Dmil's surgery went well. When we left her late this afternoon, she was sitting up, eating ice cream. She hasn't been able to feed herself for quite sometime due to the tremors. She will have more procedures done next friday to help fine tune things. In fact, she will have procedures done over the next month to get things exactly where they need to be. Thank you so much for all of your prayers.
