My dad will be going in for open heart surgery at 7am Monday morning. It is a very routine surgery and we are not too worried, but we would appreciate the prayers for him. Also, we have a lot of family traveling to be here and I would appreciate prayers for their safe arrival. Our priest is coming over to anoint him on Sunday evening and I think my brothers and I will all be there for that. I will post an update at some point in time on Monday. Thanks so much!

They postponed my dad's surgery today. Although it was for a good reason, a heart transplant, we're pretty frustrated. We'll know later today when they are rescheduling. Please pray for the recipient of the heart transplant and for the family of the person who donated the heart. They need more prayers than us right now.

Well, it's almost 5am and I am getting ready to head to the hospital for my dad's surgery. It's really real this time! Prayers please today!!!! I am really anxious, so I can only imagine how my dad feels! I'll post updates when I can. Thanks!
