Tomorrow(Tuesday Feb. 26th) is the hearing for Legislative Bill 1141.

If this bill passes, it would put Nebraska on the list of "The Most Difficult States to HS ." I posted at the beginning of the month about it, listing the main propositions.

The two that are (to me) the most disturbing:

1) Making HSers take a Standardized Test at HSers expense-AND if the child doesn't pass with at least a 50%-THE DC WOULD BE FORCED TO ATTEND AN ACCREDITED SCHOOL.(Nebraska public school DC aren't even made to take this type of test!)

2) If a DC hasn't been HSed yet, the DC would have to be tested to see that they are around grade-level.

Please pray that this bill is completely outvoted, and that there is absolutely *no* compromises proposed.
