It seems as if our bad month is turning into a bad year! My father is having a heart cath. this morning around 10:00 or 10:30. He had a stress test on Tuesday that indicated some heart trouble and they think it is serious enough to warrant the cath. Since both of his parents dies of massive heart attacks and his older brother has already had a heart attack (and lived!), we are concerned about this very much. I would really appreciate your prayers today. Thanks!

My mother just called a few minutes ago and told me that he is back right now and they are doing the procedure. He should be done around 11:30 unless they decided to actually put a shunt in or something. I'll give updates as I get them. Thanks for praying, this is really nerve wracking.

Keep those prayers coming ladies! My dad will soon be scheduled for open heart surgery and will need 3-4 bypasses. I am very scared and also very thankful that they caught this when they did. If it had been let go, the consequences could have been much worse. We don't have a date yet, but I will update when we do. Thanks again for the prayers. I can always feel them working!
