We bought our house 3 yrs ago and a couple of weeks ago we decided to refinance because by doing it we could lower our mortgage payment by $80/month. This is $80 we could really use. Anyway, everything is turning out perfectly, except there is a big problem with our title. The company that did the title search 3 years ago did a bad job and we are paying for it now with alot of delays. Our interest rate is only locked until the 29th so if we don't close by then this will all be for naught. Please pray that the issue with the title gets resolved in time. Thanks.

Thank you St Joseph! Although there is a ton of stuff to be done before we can close and we will likely close after the 29th, I just spoke to the woman at the mortgage company and she told me that they will be extending the lock on our interest rate There is so much to be sorted out, but I am confident that the people working on it will get it done. My area is notorious for stuff like this, but I am still surprised that we have to deal with this because we were told only 3 years ago that our title was clean. Thanks again for the prayers!!
