I would be really grateful for prayers for the safe delivery of my baby. He's due today and for some reason I feel really anxious about everything. I've had three perfectly normal deliveries so far and no reason to suspect that it will be any different this time, but still I fret.

It doesn't help that dh (a doctor) has let slip that he is dreading it -- seeing me in pain, worrying about what might go wrong for me or the baby. That just makes it a vicious circle...

On top of this dh has already started paternity leave. He gets two weeks, which is wonderful -- but would be less wonderful if he goes back to work before the baby has been born!
