We're taking 1 year old James to a pediatric gastroenterologist this afternoon because his pediatrician is concerned about spot on his rear end that isn't healing quickly (it's a long story). The ped warned me that the specialist is alarmist (in the ped's opinion). So we're a little nervous going in. If you could please pray that the appointment goes well and that James's condition is minor, I would really appreciate it.

Thank you for the prayers! The appointment went very well. The doc was fantastic, not alarmist at all, and we were very happy with everything.
I do have one more prayer request, though. James has had a cold for the past couple of days and the doc was concerned while listening to James's lungs. He recommended that we bring him in tonight to our ped after hours clinic to check him out. So we have another appointment in two hours. Please pray for that one as well. thanks!

Thank you for the prayers! I'm sorry I haven't updated sooner--the sickies are using up all of my energy. James's ped appointment went well--he has bronchiolitis, likely caused by RSV. Fortunately he is doing well and the doc expected him to recover without any medical intervention. He is wheezing a little still, but he is doing so much better today. Sat and Sun he was the most pitiful baby.
