I know it sounds kind of silly, when others are dealing with losses, and illness, and problems with dc, etc. But tomorrow I leave for my big house-hunting trip--flying from NC to AR, then driving across AR and OK and KS over a week, looking at 14 houses...one of which may be "THE" house...the "I won't leave til I am carried out in a box" kind of house, iykwim. Please, please PLEASE pray, that if one of these houses IS the house, it is clear...and that Our Lord will make it equally clear when a house is NOT *THE* house...I am sure you all understand.
And, if you all can please pray that the sellers will be willing to bargain and work negotiate, if they don't accept our initial offers...
And that DH will survive being the sole parent for a week's time. He's never done it before, so he's going to basically be thrown to the wolves, poor dear.  But I've loaded the fridge, the pantry, have asked one friend to come over Sat evening so he can go to Mass, and another friend is going to check in on him early in the week, in case he needs anything.
But heavy duty prayer this weekend--esp Saturday--would be VERY appreciated. That's when I am looking at three of the best possibilities.

Big prayers coming. Our realtor took us and all the kids around to several houses and I ended up finding what we wanted (with a little renovation, especially to the kitchen necessary) right in the neighborhood in which we were renting.
