A friend forwarded this amazing story to me:

A woman she knows has this happening in her family-

Her cousin is married to a girl with cystic fibrosis who now needs a double lung transplant. Before they got married they were told that because of her CF that she would never have children, but they prayed daily for a miracle baby. They discovered they were expecting a baby just as her health began to fail rapidly. She is on a ventilator, and at the beginning of the week the doctors delivered the baby via c-section at 24 weeks to try to save them both.

The baby, Gwenyth Rose, was 1 lb 6 oz. Miraculously, both mom and baby survived the surgery. The baby is doing as well as they can hope for, but the mom is still on a ventilator and not doing so well (high C02 levels).

This couple is in their mid-twenties- I think the dad is 25.   It is a miracle that Gwenyth Rose was conceived, and a miracle that both she and her mom survived surgery.

Please keep them in your continued prayers. Blessed Gianna please intercede for them!

Thank you all for praying. Reading the dad's blog truly humbled me. When he talks about "his girls" and accepting God's will it brings tears to my eyes.


ETA: I read in the blog this morning that Nathan was able to touch his daughter for the first time last night. Now that had me crying- the pictures!
