Ever since I returned home from my trip in July, I have had trouble catching my breath......until I got bronchitis in Oct...which, when I recovered, found myself having a new problem with my breath...kind of hard to describe.
the symptoms have been worse in the last month....and especially bad the last two weeks....and worse the last two days.
I have wondered from the beginning if it was mild asthma.
I have been in denial, hoping it would just heal and go away. After over 5 mos.....I guess I better do something about it.
You see, I do not take drugs (except for dental pain, since last spring)...and taking drugs for asthma would just be so outside my comfort zone.
At the same time the little breathing stuff started, I had some eye problems, too. It last two months, and I asked for complete healing in a prayer request to you guys, and the next day, all eye symptoms disappeared (you all get the pray credit  ) completely.
So, I know this is pressure  ...but I come to you with a similar request...for complete healing with these breathing issues.
Will you please pray for me?

Got you covered in prayer Chari.
We deal with asthma here and I hate taking meds unless it's life threatening - sometimes it is. But...on those occasions when it's not, I have my son gulp a ton of water. Also, a little salt licked off the palm of the hand is helpful for some reason. So, when you're feeling short of breath, make yourself sit down, lick a bit of salt and gulp a large glass of water. Keep following up with more water, but the first glass usually does the trick. I wish I remembered the book I read this from, but I borrowed it from my brother and I don't remember the title.  But, it was from a legitimate source - I promise.

Chari, I will be praying for you starting NOW! It sounds exhausting, too. I am with you about the drug thing- I even resisited compounded Natural Progesterone for years- (what is WRONG with my body that it does not make this on my own- SURELY some nutrition/diet/exercise tweaking can fix this!!)and I am notorious for not filling perscriptions.
Praying for peace for you as well. It is hard when our bodies do not work as we want them too!

Dear Chari - I am praying for you. Lots of hugs too coming your way. (From one medicine phobe to another - I did cave in and take some drugs last week - just 3 days made a huge difference - I had to pray just not to get stressed taking the medication as I really dislike drugs!!!)
Could you do some deep breathing exercises when resting - not sure this will help or not.
