Hi ladies,
I have been reading here for some time, but never posted. This will be my first post, I hope that is oke.
I'm six weeks pregnant, we already have a 4yo and a 17mo. The last week has been really awful, the last few days I have not been able to do anything. The last pregnancy I have been this ill for the whole nine months.
Could you please say a quick prayer for me to handle this gracefully and to not be afraid, my fear is scaring my husband. Oh, and to not feel guilty for taking medication.
Thanks.

Praying!
And DON'T feel guilty for taking meds when you are that sick. My pregnancies are like that, too.
Prayers for peace and for relief for you!
Here is a previous thread with some information/help/advice.
Oh, here is another.
HTH,

Know right where you are! This sort of physical suffering is very hard to offer up and be cheerful through for some reason. I guess because it overshadows everything and we are unable to tend to even the basics of our vocation. Accept the suffering. Accept help. Accept medications if they help you get through the day. I haven't had a baby yet that didn't have to endure copious amounts of Zofran, etc. And 2 of them only survived through the use of a central line to feed me when I was really bad off! If you're not too bad off, try as many of the homeopathic natural remedies that are mentioned on the above thread Laura linked to - they are your best source of hope. You have my prayers and sympathy - this is not an easy cross to carry! If you want to vent - feel free to pm me! You are in my prayers!!!!

Oh, I really, really feel for women who are nauseous throughout their pregnancies! Mine have never been too bad, and I can only imagine how hard it must be to function. And you have other littles to care for too. I am praying that you find some relief and that this nausea will end soon. May the Lord grant you much peace and strength.
I'm glad that you finally posted. :)

Thank you, ladies. Your prayers mean a lot to me.
Yesterday we went to the doctor again, to check my urine and to talk about possible new medication. The medication I'm taking now (Emesafene) isn't working. I'm feeling really awful.
My urine was fine, thank God. The doctor told me after consulting with the gyn that there are no other medications I can get. She felt positive though that I will start to feel better after the first trimester. Why she thinks that is beyond me, in my last pregnancy it lasted the whole nine months.
My husband has started to call friends and family and is trying to get someone to help me everyday.
Could you please say a little prayer for me to handle this gracefully, I find this very difficult (friends taking time of from work to help me). Thanks.
