Hi all,
Could you all offer up a little prayer for our little 7 mos. old John Paul? His metopic suture (the front two plates of the skull that come together on the forehead) has fused too early. Fortunately, the doctor said no surgery is required, but he wanted to do a scan anyway. I've been manipulating the area for the past month and it is much smoother. His appointment is at 9am CST tomorrow and we are going early to see if we can avoid the scan, but we are set up to go ahead if it's still necessary.

The sedation team wants me to give him his final nursing by 4am. Yikes!! I don't think that's going to fly with him, but we'll do our best. So prayers all around...it's so hard for me to mother when they want to nurse and can't...

We just got home (long day for other reasons) and we did not have to have the CT! Praise God and thank you all for your prayers! God's grace and the advice of our chiropractor to manipulate that suture! Without that advice, I'm sure we'd have had to do the scan. We don't even have to go back! This is just such a wonderful Christmas gift for our family! I think all your prayers helped this mom remain at peace. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts!
