I know there are some awesome prayer warriors here, so I'm asking for prayers for a friend who is in the hospital. She is almost 23 weeks pregnant with her first baby and started bleeding last night - they're having a hard time stopping contractions. She had a difficult time conceiving and was really worried after her first ultrasound, though things didn't look as bad after her second one. Thank you!

I am so sad to write that my friend delivered her baby Sunday evening. Everything was looking so good yesterday afternoon when we visited, but then she started having strong contractions again in the evening and they were unable to stop them.

He was a perfectly formed and healthy 23 week old boy, but did not live through the delivery. The hospital is considering the delivery a live birth. They baptized him as he was being delivered, so there is a little comfort in the certainty that he is in the arms of God, but their arms are empty.

Thank you for all your prayers, please continue to pray, pray, pray for Jennie and her husband.
