We now have cold weather and absolutely no running water (the hose is frozen stiff that pumps water from a container into the house for the toilets.) We can't use the toilets...except for the littlest ones who can't go outside in freezing weather. We put up with the smell, because dragging water for the toilets from in town would be a bit nuts.
The 4 year old is now wetting the bed and because of this fiasco. (Not good timing).
The well is running mucky water and they are down 800 feet. They have hydrofracked and now want to put a $4,000 filter system on. We are talking this well will end up costing about 1/3 of the cost of our entire house.
I am still in shock....and we're going on 7 weeks now.
School is non-existent and I don't feel great about that either.
Last night, I had a mini-break down. This isn't good.
Please pray that this is resolved very soon.

Stephanie, I will be praying for you. We have a well also. We haven't had any problems (yet) but many in our town are. Some in our town have city water, and the well users are begging to be hooked into town water. I never realized it was still such a complicated issue. I will pray!
