Dear Ladies,
I have been without running water in our house for 6 weeks. Our well collapsed 6 weeks ago and first we were on a waiting list with the well company. Then they drilled over 800 feet, but didn't get enough water and once we placed the pump in, it ran the well dry in an hour. So we had to hire a hydrofraking company, but now we are coming up with dirty water. If we drill much deeper, we will hit unusable sulfur water. It has been a nightmare. With the cold the hose had frozen that runs into the house from a portable tank of water that we could use for the toilets only. We have to travel to shower, use the laundry, and get drinking water to drink and cook with. With 10 people in the house, this has been a trial that I wish would end. The little ones now have the stomach flu!
Please pray that the water clears up and we can use it.
We are running the well now in intervals and having the water tested, etc.

Oh, I will pray...I know what it's like to have unusable water from our times in Italy. Sigh. Just the memories of those days make me feel tired. You'll be in my prayers all day long.

Stephanie, prayers coming!

We lived for over two months with no water at all when our well collapsed several years ago, and over six months of water that was so saturated with iron we couldn't use it for much more than bathing. I still have orange clothes to remind me of that year. We used to take milk jugs to the river to fill up for flushing toilets!

I am so sorry you are going through this. Thank God you have friends to support you and modern conveniences such as bottled water. You will get through this.
