..I have to see yet another specialist for my eyes. I have seen the healing power of our Lord before - and I know that this is going to resolve. I am so weary though and all the doctor visits are so time consuming and financially draining.
I would really appreciate lots of prayers - and that I might have more faith - I feel a bit depressed by the whole thing.

Thank you all for your prayers and kind wishes. My appointment actually ended up on Friday - they took me early, which was easier for dh to take time off work. It took a third opthamologist to figure out that I have severe dry eye and meibobian gland dysfunction (eye not producing enough oil) - I did not care much for the specialist but she did know her stuff. She gave me the options for lots of medication - most not compatible with nursing. But I have done my research - and apparently dry eye problems can worsen during pregnancy and breastfeeding plus given the horrid pink eye I had. I am going to pray that this will get easier as hormones settle down - I really do not want to do constant steroids which means I have to go in for weekly glaucoma tests.
Please pray that I can learn to live with the discomfort and believe that it will clear up - and I will find some natural remedies.

Marilyn, I have been praying that you will find something that helps. My father struggled with dry eyes for years (not the same thing you have, though), and had so much trouble sleeping as a result. May the Holy Spirit guide you to a remedy that is compatible with nursing.

Thank you for your continued prayers. I am feeling better - but am so tired of all the different doctors - cannot agree on diagnosis or treatment. Some have tried to get me to give up nursing - others are so flippant - "well if you get glaucoma, it is treatable"??? I think I need to just try and live with a bit of discomfort and stop trying to figure it out. I am taking my Omega 3s, trying to get sleep and believe that God is in charge and this body will eventually heal!!!
I appreciate all the thoughts and kind words.
And Chari - I am getting in lots of snuggle time. When I feel bad I just have to look at Angel Baby - such a smiley guy - his chubby face always turned to me smiling - and a real snuggle muffin. Just makes everything worthwhile!
