I received some worrisome information in a call from my rheumatologist's office this morning. Some of my blood test results were off. This has happened before but this time his much-greater-than-typical response has me concerned. I'll have a recheck of my blood work this week, and the results of that recheck will drive the next step.

In the meantime the dosage reduction will more than likely mean I'll be experiencing pain and fatigue in the next few days, unless God intervenes. I'm feeling a bit flare-ish already, so I'm concerned about further reducing my medication.

Please pray that my family and I endure this trial with grace.

10/31 update - the recheck results are back and are normal, thanks be to God. The doctor however wants me to stay on a reduced dose for now. I guess we'll see how that goes. God is holding me up as I'm not worrying excessively or suffering too much pain. Thanks for your prayers!

I wish I could find a way to do that, Chari. Do you have any suggestions? Two (maybe a bit less?) years ago I saw a 'preventative medicine' doctor for a while. I felt comfortable with him because I used to work with one of his nieces. Unfortunately, he isn't included in my insurance plan, what he does isn't covered, and he's 1.5 hour round trip from here. And frankly, while I'm open to new ideas, what he was doing was 'way out there' compared to traditional medicine and seemed to take many visits to work through, and in the end it was all very hard to explain to my husband. I feel stuck.    I do need to call the chiropractor for an appt with week...
