Our move is being held up for medical reasons--mine and our ds. The relocation company will not be called until we submit treatment plans for both of us.
For my ds it involves his therapy. The report is currently being written. Hopefully, his report will be approved and he will be certified safe for travel.
I guess I have a low iron count (9.2 and it should be in the 14-16 range). The new company wants to know what is causing this (menopause, intestinal bleeding, etc) before they will release me. My doctor thinks that it is menopause which would not be a problem. But if it is some sort of intestinal thing, I may not be cerified safe for travel.
I ask that you pray for God's will which hopefully, will be positive. I believe that this move is part of his plan, but there have been so many delays related to all this medical testing.
Sorry if I have rambled. Perhaps it is my low iron count making me disjointed ...

Praying for you, Carole. I know how stressful waiting is, especially when you're living in that "packed and ready to go" mode.

I just found out yesterday that my low iron levels are related to my menopause. This is good news! So I am taking iron pills (and eating fried chicken livers). I will be retested on November 8th. Hopefully my levels will increase.
I will say that I seem to have a lot more energy lately. I can actually make it through the day without an afternoon nap.
I appreciate all of your prayers. It all seems to be working out. I still need the medical reports, but they are in the works and hopefully will be here soon. I have the feeling that once they are approved, the move will happen faster than I can imagine ... my head will be spinning!

Carole, that's great news! I had an idea it might be a simple thing like that. Good thing you like liver. I'm still remembering your intentions...

Carole -
Great news that things are working themselves out! Maybe I should take iron pills -- sounds like an easy enough remedy for my typical dragged-out feeling; But I absolutely draw the line at eating chicken livers!
Peace,
Nancy

Hi Carole,
Glad to hear that iron supplements should do the trick. (Remember Vitamin C too.) You've been in my prayers and will continue to be. I'll call probably tomorrow. Got a little crazy today.. I'll tell you about it.

Carole, I know from (too much) experience how exhausting anemia can be. I am so glad that you're feeling better and that the problem can be solved fairly easily.
Praying for an "easy" (ha) move.
