Dear all,

I'm hoping this is nothing but I may have a "slow leak" in my amniotic fluid. I stood up earlier this morning and heard a small audible pop and a *small* trickle of fluid. It was enough to freak me out a little. I'm going to call the doctor's office and see if they want me to come in. I had a slow leak with my oldest but it was when I was at term pretty much. I'm about 27 weeks now. Any words of wisdom?

Hoping I was just half asleep and it wasn't a big deal,

Praying JoAnna! My midwife said that if your amniotic fluid starts leaking before labor, you should use the same toilet the entire time until you have the baby. I guess the theory is is that your body is used to those germs so they are less likely to affect the baby. Also and I hope this isn't TMI but it is something we should be doing anyway, she said it is very important to wipe front to back when you use the toilet. But the best thing would be if it is just a false alarm, which is what I am praying for.
