Please pray stop labor now prayers.

My sil's sister went into labor last night with her 30 week old twins and they are trying to stop the labor.

Moreover, she has a very high risk pregnancy with her twins. They have a condition (more than twin to twin transfer - can't remember the real name) where one of her girls is taking the nutrients and fluids from the other so that one twin is much larger (but susceptible to heart damage) and the other is much smaller (at risk of dwindling away and dying).

She has ultrasounds every week to see if the smaller has stopped growing. It's hard to tell by ultrasound when this happens, but when it does -- they will take them by C-section. There is a very high death rate with this condition.

Please pray for her labor to stop and the guidance of the Holy Spirit for her doctors to know when to take these little girls. She has 6 other beautiful children.

Update: They stopped labor and are still monitoring her in the hospital. So THANK YOU FOR THE PRAYERS. She sees a number of specialists and has an ultrasound today to decide the next course of action. The doppler reading on the smallest baby wasn't good yesterday, so that may play a big factor. They'll do another reading from today. (And her babies have twin-to-twin TRANSFUSION).
Update 9/27 - Thanks again for the prayers. She came home over the weekend -- I forgot to update -- with a bunch of precautions, but saw a specialist yesterday. I haven't heard the results of the latest visit. But every day, week more that they can do well in utero is so critical. But just to know when to come out is still a guessing game.

Update: She made it to 34 Weeks and is labor and will have the babies today!

Please pray to St. Theresa that all goes well for both the larger twin, the smaller twin, and for the mom.

FYI - She was blessed by a priest months ago who prayed that she would make it to 34 weeks (when everyone else was doubtful of that) and blessed her again with a first class relic of St. Theresa of Avila.
