Well, today's the day the doctor will test my blood for whatever might have killed our two babies this past year. She thinks my blood has built up antibodies that are killing the babies. It seems to make sense, since death took the first at 13 weeks and the second baby at 6 weeks. Antibodies tend to recognize foreign bodies (that would be the baby) sooner the second and subsequent times it happens. Please pray for closure and for acceptance of God's will (as regards whether I'll be capable of having babies again or not) no matter what happens.

Thank you so much for your prayers. They mean a whole lot to me.

Tina, I had 3 miscarriages before we found out that I have antiphospholipid syndrome, which is what you are describing. I just had a baby in June with a little aspirin everyday so I'll pray for a simple resolution to your situation!

I went and had blood drawn, though the lab didn't know for what reason. Incompetence at its finest. the doctor never ordered blood tests! She wasn't there yesterday for them to ask. I asked them to call her, but they said she needed to look at my chart and she wasn't there to do it. They finally asked three nurses and came up with a few ideas of what they could test me for. I hope they hit upon the right ones, because I'd hate to have blood drawn again just for the sake of an incompetent provider. I'm calling the center today to talk with my doctor. Hopefully by now she has straightened them out. Ugh!
