That would be me- not dh, the kids or anyone else. We are finally set to move in a couple of weeks, and I am just such a grump- I don't know if it's the stress of the move (trying to pack up with my "helpers"), the sadness of leaving old friends or the fact that after seven months of all this I am just worn out!
Please pray that God will give me the extra helping of patience and grace that I need....

As a veteran of many moves, I entirely understand your stress-related concerns. May our Blessed Mother, who twice had to move under sudden, stress-related conditions, intercede for you and ask our Heavenly Father to give you peace.
(I find such comfort in the idea that Mary had to move to unknown places. She really knows exactly what it's like to be a modern parent...moves, lack of communication, missing children, weird comments from strangers...she's been there and understands us all. God chose wisely when he prepared Mary to bear His Son.)
Melinda, if you weren't stressed out by now it would be, well, weird. It is totally OK to feel overwhelmed right now. You're in my prayers.

Thank you all for your prayers. I often think of how the Holy Family was frequently "in transition". At least I am not nine months pregnant and about to take a big trip on a donkey....
