As some of you may remember, my DH has been deployed since June 1 to Iraq--it was for a 15-18mos deployment (this started three weeks after our twins were born at 34 wks).

His back problems, already pretty severe before he left, are resulting in him being sent home early. Probably by the end of this month. While the medical establishment tried to get them to leave him back in the first place, the powers that be didn't listen and hauled him halfway across the planet. Not great. But it has had some good results. Spiritually, he is doing MUCH better than before he left, PRAISE GOD (a couple of 54 day novenas, OL intercession, and I feel GOOD about that).

But he is looking retirement squarely in the face, and needs to finish his college, and find a decent paying job for after he leaves the Army. We'll have some money from his retirement pay, but that might be enough to cover a mortgage, and not much else...and with five small children, and God willing, the hope of more in the future, well, ykwim.

So please, prayers that DH can finish his college in a timely manner....that he can use his connections to get the best job for our family, both in the short and long term, and that we will be able to clearly discern this, when the time comes to make our decisions...and that we will be able to fix our current home up enough to make SOME money off of it, in addition to our equity.

Thank you, ladies. Time is so short here for much online communications, with two 4 mos olds, and hsing the two oldest--and keeping the 3 yr old out of mischief. Ya'll can understand, I know.

I'm praying for all of the needs I read about, even if I don't post for each of them, my thoughts are with you.....
