UPDATE: (dictated by my daughter)
Dear Ladies,
My Mama told me that you prayed for me. I appreciate that you prayed for me. I hope that you will pray for me some more. I will say a prayer for you tonight during prayer time.
We went to see the surgeon today and he diagnosed her as having a possible lipoma. Our options were to do nothing or have it removed. My daughter said she wanted it removed. Since it is visible and is not going away, I opted to have it removed. We are going in for surgery on Monday, September 24th in the early morning. Please pray that I made the right decision and that she will be safe throughout the proceedure and recovery. She was very brave and I am very proud of her!

I am sorry to say that I am back so soon asking for more prayers. I thank you all so much for the prayers you offered to my family and I before. While nothing has currently changed on that front, your thoughts and prayers have made me feel more at peace and confident that all prayers will be answered in God's time.
Today, I ask for prayers for my 4 yo daughter. About two months ago, I noticed that she had a bump on her leg. There was no external trauma, so I decided to let it go for a few days. It didn't go away. I took her to the doctor a month ago and was told that it might be a ganglion cyst and that we should watch it for a month. She has already had one of those removed from just above her eye, so I wasn't too worried. Over the course of the last month, I have watched this bump get larger and smaller and then larger again. Sometimes it hurts her but not too terribly (not enough to take the yucky medicine anyway!). Today we went in for an ultrasound. Both the tech and the doctor there were stumped. They had no idea what they were seeing, but that it wasn't a cyst. The doc said she'd look in her books for possibilities, but that did not comfort me. I called the doctor's office and told them what was said and then asked for the next step. Tomorrow I will be calling a plastic surgeon to set up an appointment for biopsy and/or removal.
Please pray for my daughter, who truly is unaware of anything possibly being wrong - she was a champ at the ultrasound! I am glad she is unaware, I am praying that everything is ok. Please pray for me, that I do not worry too much. I do not want to show her or her brother that I am fearful about any of this. Please pray that I will be able to get an appointment with the same surgeon who took care of her eye. He was so kind to us last time and very good at what he did - you can hardly see her scar.
