Last night my dh woke up in the middle of the night choking on phlegm... it was so scary, he made the scariest noise and couldn't breath for what seemed like ages, but was only a few seconds. I don't know if that is something that can just happen to people, or if there is something wrong with him.. but I can't shake the feeling of anxiety tonight. He went to bed early, because he didn't sleep much after that, and I am sitting awake, feeling sort of scared.
I know I'm not supposed to be scared and full of anxiety.. i know that God takes care of us (I just finished watching Veggie Tales "God is bigger than the boogie man" LOL), but sometimes I get worried and can't seem to calm my racing heart.
Could you please pray for me if you read this tonight that I can relax and get some much needed rest... and for my husband that he won't choke on anything again?
It seems like such a small request amid all of the very serious problems that other people have, but I knew i could come here online and feel at home with you ladies and know that there are other moms and wives up too.
I can't even find my rosary, because we just moved and my stuff is still in chaos around the house.

It's a horrible felling anxiety in the middle of the night for what ever the reason. I will pray that you have some peace and that your dh will be fine.

Dear Melanie,
I just saw this. Praying for you and your husband now.
I've had reflux that has awakened me in the middle of the night, just like that, I wake up coughing and choking. So, I know it can be scary.
Praying everyone is well and not feeling anxious anymore!

Oh thank you so much ladies... I really felt a sense of peace just as I was drifting off to sleep, and even though the babies woke me up, I slept well. You are all so wonderful. God is so good to bless us with places like 4real to come to.
