In about an hour we'll be taking our youngest to see a child psychologist. Earlybird has PDD-NOS and we are looking for some help with monitoring his overall progress and treatment. I'm not sure this is who we should be seeing (if say, a neurologist or developmental ped. would be a better choice), and I hope this evaluation is not hard on our son nor done in vain. If you have a moment would you say a prayer for our little guy, and this dr.?

Praying Dawn. Andrew see's a developmental pediatrician that we really like as well as a yearly appointment with the neurologist and regular appointments with our pediatrician. They all work well together and I would like maybe the developmental ped would be a good choice for EB.

Thank you so much for your prayers, everyone! They truly helped so much - I was calm and clear-headed through the whole thing and dh was a huge help (keeping EB busy while I talked with the dr).

As it turns out, this is not the person to see (thankfully,as he was a bit pompous and cold to be honest ) but we have been given some direction where else to look.

Theresa, this all sounds good to me. I am going to ask for a dev. ped. *and* a neurologist. Does Andrew see a pediatric neurologist? The dr. we saw yesterday said they are hard to find. (And considering we live in the Boston area that seems hard to believe. )
