baby John Paul and Colleen are both okay! He is in a "controlled state of paralysis" to keep him from breathing air into his stomach. JP weighed in at roughly 6.5 lbs, they didn't take their time to weigh him precisely because of his condition. His heart rate is steady and he was able to cry and everything seems to be well. If he continues to progress today, they will operate on him tomorrow.
Thank you all so much for your prayers! Colleen was so happy to hear/read of the support everyone has given her.
