We were so fortunate this week to recieve another offer on our house. However, we only signed the contract today, and the buyers are rushing us this afternoon into a house inspection tomorrow morning. They are leaving to go back to WA tomorrow and want the inspection done ASAP. We are currently having some outside work done on the house and wanted to have it done before the inspection.
The husband wants our house; the wife wants a different one. We feel like she will use the slightest problem with the inspection to cancel the contract- and still be in town to make an offer on her favorite. Our realtor is not happy, but she feels if we decline the inspection it will appear as though we are hiding something. To top it off, we left home this morning after signing to make an express trip to NC to see a house my dh found that he really loves and wants to make an offer on
I feel so stressed. We are not home and have to do all this long distance now, If we had known we would have postponed our trip, And now we may be facing another failed contract if the wife is unhappy with the inspection report.
I'm trying to take a deep breath and turn it all over to God.

This long road seems to never end. I did go to daily mass this AM, and the psalm had a line in it about "fear no evil report". I'm holding on to that... it's just so frustrating. The *one* day I am out of town all this happens... nothing about this whole thing has been easy.

Sending prayers your way....we have owned three home in the past 3.5 years, so I understand all to well. 
St. Joseph is so good and loving. I can guarantee that he will answer your prayers and more!
Also, as far as inspections. I have been surprised at how "general" they have been at times (We have had 5 inspection on our homes). Can your Realtor find one that is more lenient? Can she/he be present to explain the situation?
